The Barboncino Wood Fired Pizza Restaurant design took an aggressive approach to adaptively reusing this dilapidated space. Originally two narrow storefronts the design combined them but kept separate entrances with separated functions; the bar entrance and the pickup/counter service entrance. The multi-level space is deceptively large squeezing every available inch including a basement function room and a bar carved put under the existing stair. The approach was to make many small rooms that feel interment and unique while in actuality is a restaurant of some volume.
