Think (30th)

The fun of this space is derived from a study of Bernini’s ‘Ecstasy of Saint Teresa’ where we conceptualize how one might make a shrine to the making of coffee. Located adjacent entry to the Highline at the new Hudson Yards development, this edition of Think Coffee is designed to celebrate the barista trade and put it on display for the transitory public of this area. The espresso machine, on its own altar at the end of the line, is framed in colored glass with a play of natural woods ranging from light to dark. A plane of pendent lights angles up to highlight the wood wall.
