The designs of Think Coffee stores call for a reflection of the values inherent in the company’s mission. As the flagship store for a ‘fair trade’ and ‘organic grown’ independent company, most of the heavy wood shelving is reclaimed from demolished warehouses,  the lighting is retrofitted from former fixtures, and the furniture and metal work is handcrafted by local artisans. The community and identity of Think Coffee called for space layout that provided for interactive relations between customers and staff as well as the celebration of the Barista skills, making fine drinks with ‘by-hand’ machines.
