Isla & Co. is a restaurant designed to feel both open to the city and sheltered from it. Located at the base of The Merchant Hotel, the ground-floor space is defined by generous glazing and access to a private courtyard, bringing in abundant natural light. Cycle responds by creating an inward-focused dining room that feels warm, intimate, and composed.

Symmetrical wraparound banquettes, café tables at the windows, and a tucked-away blue bar establish a clear spatial rhythm, while floor-to-ceiling curtains soften the street edge and increase a sense of enclosure. Walnut millwork, terrazzo, brass lighting, and Venetian plaster bring warmth to the concrete-and-steel shell, balancing openness with a more tailored and atmospheric interior.
