Located within a 1920s Lower East Side building, Ms. Alice is conceived as an elevated pub. A sculptural horseshoe bar anchors the space, its curved form echoed in custom millwork, lighting, and detailing throughout the room. The horseshoe bar encourages conviviality, offering generous sightlines that allow guests to see and be seen.

The project places a strong emphasis on craft, with a restrained palette of walnut, black porcelain tile, and carefully integrated antique patinated brass. Seating is layered and varied, shifting from active perches at the bar to quieter velvet-upholstered banquettes. The result is an interior that feels precise yet relaxed, where repeated forms and material continuity create a cohesive environment.
